Hi, I’m kathleen
I divulged into photography in 2014 and fell in love with the creative art and haven’t looked back since. Photos hold a special place in my heart as I have learned their importance and impact they can have on ones life. They are more than just an image, they are a memory. They are moments in time captured that we once could only look back on in our minds but now can have in our possession. Our children’s faces and expressions change so quickly, loved ones who aren’t with us any more, special moments in our life such as an engagement or birth of a baby. These fleeting moments deserve to be captured and remembered for every detail they provide. History books can write to us, but a photo of the past makes it real with a visual and direct line to those precious memories.
I find myself unable to hone in on just one genre of photography. I deeply enjoy all types ranging from intimate lifestyle to cosplay to family to births. I don’t consider myself a “birth photographer” or just a “family photographer” I see myself as a creative photographer with a style that fits me.
I am a mom to four incredible souls, and two bonus kids. They challenge me to find the light in the dark, in both a photograph sense and in life. My kids are why I am a photographer.

Life is better in Fantasy Mode
We are a family of geeks. Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Dragon Ball, Gaming, all of the fun stuff! We show our pride in geekdom with no shame and love to share this magical world with all. As a nerd mom I love to embrace this with fellow geeks and make their sessions really show their passions in geekdom. Halloween is our favorite, because we can dress up! But Cosplay is for all year long and we love it.
